I have recently received an email from Zara of Backpack ME asking me if I wanted to contribute a post about the UAE for their upcoming Travel to My Country Feature. I immediately said YES without even thinking much about it. Well, who am I to say NO to that? Plus, the idea is awesome!

What is Travel to My Country?

It is a collaborative post done by Backpack ME wherein different bloggers from around the globe submit an article to them to inspire some other travelers to visit their country. Sounds great, yes? Well for someone who loves to travel like me, this is certainly a fantastic idea. The posts coming from real bloggers residing in the cities they are featuring adds up to the value of this article. A preview of a certain place you’re planning to visit from someone who actually lives there? You certainly can’t beat that! The best part of it all is, this one article covers a lot of cities to give you a taste of each and every place that you can visit in one particular area. So you don’t have to read a long article about one particular place specially if you’re just trying to see what’s out there and just looking out for your options. On top of that, you can of course contact the bloggers should you wish to find out more about a certain place.

Mine was featured in Africa and the Middle East post (2/4). They have also done Asia and Australia recently.
