I have always loved dining at Tony Roma’s. I think for me, it’s the best reasonably priced steak in Dubai. The last time I dined there however was February 2011 according to my blog post. LOL. I had rib eye steak then and I loved every single bit of it.
Last Saturday, the boyfriend was off (it’s very rare for him to have that day as an off) and he decided to be a sweetheart and picked me up from work. He was craving for a steak but didn’t want to have beer so we both decided to visit our go-to non-alcoholic steakhouse – Tony Roma’s in Sheikh Zayed Road.
The boyfriend ordered rib eye steak and I had my first Roma Rack ribs. Both of us ordered baked potato soup which sounded interesting, the only reason why we ordered it. :p
Well as interesting as the soup sounds, it actually tastes as great. It was creamy and had bits and pieces of potato in it. We finished it so fast that the server was pretty much surprised himself. We were famished.
As for the ribs, it was a little too fatty even for myself. Take a good note that I LOVE fatty foods! I probably need to do a check-up for my cholesterol level as I’ve been eating a lot of fatty foods for the past few days. Tony Roma’s ribs though was so fatty that I forced myself to finish it off but couldn’t. The fries were good though and I stole the boyfriend’s corn on cob which was not good as well.
I think I have ordered the wrong food for this visit. As for the boyfriend, he loved his rib eye steak. As always.
