I love parks in Europe. I’ve been to quite a few but this park is probably the best among all of those I’ve visited. What I love about the parks in Europe is they do not charge any entrance fees but it’s still well-maintained. Parc de la Tete d’Or is no different from that. They have very well-maintained botanical gardens and even greenhouses. A huge lake can also be found inside this massive park and of course the zoo, which I think is the main reason why this park sets itself different among all the other parks in Europe. Where else can you find a park within the city which has a huge collection of animals for their free-for-public zoo?
I spent almost half a day in Parc de la Tete d’Or. Walking around, taking photos, buying some snacks from one of the food stalls in the area, reading my book and just watching everyone around me. It was a good and very relaxing day for me. It’s very good for families too specially those with children.
